SEND ME HOME
SEND ME HOME is a private non-profit entity formed to offer a humane alternative to those who are here without authorization, seeking to return home without government force. It is estimated that 21 million people currently reside in the United States without legal status. Although an offer was made through Homeland Security/Customs and Border Protection for a $1000 payment for self-deportation to immigrants who left the United States voluntarily and returned home, the offer unrealistically expected these immigrants to trust the very agency attempting to identify and deport them. SEND ME HOME is not a government organization, although clearances, record checks, and fine waivers do require federal involvement. The process offers sponsors an opportunity to give to those who recognize that their time here is limited by assisting them financially to return home. Those seeking the opportunity to return to their home country would apply through the SEND ME HOME website application in a secure system . Donors would similarly apply on the SEND ME HOME website to offer financial assistance to those choosing to voluntarily leave the United States to return home. The donor's gift would be fully tax-deductible.
SEND ME HOME is the right program at the right time to serve the needs of immigrants and the government alike.
HOW WE HELP
As part of the SEND ME HOME plan, financial assistance would be offered to individuals seeking to return home. Depending on the circumstances, a cash amount of between $2,500.00 and $5,000.00 would be provided to each recipient upon departure from the United States for use in resettlement in their home country.
Another part of the SEND ME HOME plan offers the host country where the undocumented individual will be returning a $1,000.00 resettlement check. The funds can be used to assist in resettlement and will be paid directly from donations received through the SEND ME HOME website.

Our Vision
Millions of people currently living in the United States are here without authorization and, as such, violate the law. How they came and why are specific to each, but the fact remains that their ability to stay is finite. If the law is enforced, they will be removed, unfortunately, often by force. The process is devoid of compassion and places the government in the position of appearing as the evil arbiter when in fact the law is merely being enforced. As the removal process has begun, the most egregious violators (those here illegally with criminal backgrounds) have been chosen for removal first in well-publicized extraditions. Those to be removed next will undoubtedly be waiting for the knock on the door or the raid or sweep ensnaring them and placing them in custody until an overburdened system eventually sends them home. What if a compassionate alternative existed?
